Jonathan Ogden Gala
The gala will be held from 6-9:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at Martin's West, and will celebrate the induction of Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Ravens offensive lineman Jonathan Ogden into the Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards Hall of Legends. The event will benefit the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation and the Jonathan Ogden Foundation. Planned VIPs include Ozzie Newsome, Ravens general manager; Michael McCrary, former Ravens defensive end; Kyle Richardson, former Ravens punter; Wally Williams, former Ravens center; and Qadry Ismail, former Ravens wide receiver and current local TV sports analyst. Y Turkey Trot 5K
Thousands of people from local communities will come together to join the Y of Central Maryland for the annual Y Turkey Trot Charity 5K, a Thanksgiving Day tradition that raises funds to support kids whose families live in poverty throughout central Maryland. Charlie's Run
Charlie's Run is a 5K race and kids' fun run, which will honor Charlie Neave and benefit The Charlie Neave Scholarship Fund at the Odyssey School. Neave passed away in December 2012. Soccer Tournament
The Central Maryland Soccer Association will sponsor two levels of soccer competition in Westminster during the Thanksgiving holiday. The Cornucopia I tournament is for non-travel level in-house recreation council, CYO and similar types of teams. Legacy Of Len Bias
To honor Len Bias' memory, Dave Ungrady, best-selling author of the book Born Ready: The Mixed Legacy of Len Bias, will discuss the chronicled legacy of Bias, a former University of Maryland star who died of a cocaine overdose in June 1986, two days after the Boston Celtics had made him the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft. Youth Lacrosse 
Registrations for boys and girls are currently being accepted for the NWA spring lacrosse program for games from March-June 2014. NWA offers a soft-stick clinic league for 5- and 6-year-olds, as well as an in-house league and metro-area travel-league participation for the dual ages of 7-8 through 13-14. All in-house games will be scheduled at venues located within the Owings Mills and Pikesville communities. All participants are required to be registered through US Lacrosse.
