Ad Materials
All advertising must be submitted in camera-ready format, on disc or electronically.
Any ad which requires modification to bring it to acceptable format for the printer will be charged at $65 per hour.
Ad Specs
• Platform: Mac or PC
• Applications: PDF-xla: Deselect “optimize for fast web view”
• Fonts: Embed all fonts in file.
• Photos/Art: All logos and images in the file MUST be CMYK with 240 DPI resolution, and 133 line screen. All images should be saved as EPS, TIFF or JPEG files. Illustrator EPS files must have fonts loaded and outlined. NO JPEG Encoding.
• All black (text or graphic images) MUST be 100% Black (C- 0%, M- 0%, Y- 0%, K- 100% – NO build of black)
• NO Spot Color – Please make sure all spot colors are removed (or converted to CMYK) from logos before placing in the ad
• Export ad files to PDF as a “Press Quality PDF” to avoid CMYK conversion to RGB and make sure that all crop marks are turned OFF. (Printer cannot accept crop marks on files.)
• Traps: Set traps for proper output.
• Max ink density: 240 DPI
