Best Athlete You Should Know More About

Becca Meyers

When you've dealt with the type of adversity Timonium, Md., swimmer Becca Meyers has in her life, a three-month delay to the start of the World Para Swimming Championships doesn't faze you.

Meyers competes against fellow visually impaired swimmers, but she's also deaf due to Usher's Syndrome and can't hear the starting horn.

Meyers still claimed four medals (one gold, two silver, one bronze) in Mexico City.
