• The Solution: One way Tim Tebow could please himself and silence all critics is to become a standout running back, who occasionally throws a decent option pass. A couple of college quarterbacks named Paul Hornung (Notre Dame, Heisman '57; Green Bay Packers, HOF '86) and Tom Matte (Baltimore Colts, 12 years) had fair NFL careers following that fashion.

• Deep Pockets: According to the L.A. Times, final settlement in the divorce of ex-Dodgers owner Frank McCourt gives Jamie Luskin McCourt, the daughter of former local electronics giant Jack Luskin, several valuable properties and $121 million in tax-free dollars.
