Gausman To Reportedly Debut Monday In Aberdeen
The issue of whether first-round pick Kevin Gausman pitched too many innings in college to pitch for the Orioles organization this year was answered late Thursday.
MASNSports.com is reporting that Gausman will pitch for Single-A short-season Aberdeen Monday. He pitched 123.1 innings for LouIsiana State University this spring and summer.
The Orioles allowed Dylan Bundy, the 2011 first-round pick, to sit out the summer a year ago. Gausman is expected to go three innings, according to MASN.
