UFC To Fight For Troops
By Rob Long
UFC will fight for those who fight for us. Dana White recently revealed he’s planning to hold a “Fight for the Troops” event in Afghanistan sometime this summer.
Reportedly, the problem with holding an event in Afghanistan is UFC would not be able to record the fight card. White seems to be willing to make that sacrifice.

Recently, Matt Hughes defeated Renzo Grazie at UFC 112. While Hughes hasn’t been the most popular MMA fighter of his time, he’s built a very impressive resume beating top fighters such as Matt Serra, B.J. Penn, Royce Gracie, Georges St. Pierre and Sean Sherk.

Who is Frankie Edgar? He is “The Answer” according to his nickname, and his game. After defeating Penn at UFC 112, he boasts a 9-1 record and has turned the heads of all in the MMA world. The question is who’s next for Edgar? He’s won fights in seemingly every way there is to win. Look for this young man to continue to rise.
According to reports, UFC wants a rematch between the two instead of undefeated (10-0) Gray Maynard getting a title shot. Maynard was overlooked for a shot at the title for UFC 112 despite having beaten Edgar convincingly. It looks like Maynard may have to beat up on someone else to get the White’s attention.
