Orioles' Offensive Woes Concerning
The O's offensive woes continue, as Mark Reynolds is showing that no matter what league he's batting in, he's doing it below .200.
Nick Markakis, easily one of the club's best offensive performers during the last five years, is now at a shocking .208, while Derrek Lee sits at a scary .211. These are hitters that are supposed to be the heart of the order.
Two of them were brought to Baltimore during the offseason to provide some punch. Reynolds, despite his inability to connect with the ball, has 12 RBIs, while Lee has just two.
Only two everyday players are batting above .250 and none of them are above .275. Those are truly horrifying numbers.
