Balance Buoying Chesapeake
By Todd McElwee
Attackman Danny Glading produced five points (two goals, one two-point goal, one assist) in guiding Chesapeake past Hamilton, 16-15, Saturday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Improving to 6-1, the Bayhawks have ascended into the top spot in the MLL largely because of a balanced offensive attack.
Ben Hunt, Kyle Dixon, Steven Brooks, Michael Kimmel, Drew Westervelt and Glading have all paced Chesapeake during a particular game. Dixon has done it twice. Nine different Bayhawks have produced double-digit point totals for the year. Chesapeake trails Boston (109) and Denver (106) with 98 goals.
