Grand Prix Events Delayed

By Barrett Neale

The schedule for the first day of the inaugural Grand Prix has been delayed several hours.

As of 11 a.m., Edie Brown, head of media relations for the Baltimore Grand Prix, said there were thousands of patrons inside the paddock meeting all the drivers. The first trial, an F2000 practice, was scheduled to begin at 8 a.m., and the final event of the day is a 5K run from 7-8 p.m.

Brown said the events would still continue in the scheduled order, but she wasn't sure when the trials would begin.

Update: Adjusted Friday Afternoon Schedule
3:40-4:10 p.m. -- Indy Lights practice
4:30-5:45 p.m. -- IndyCar practice
6:05-7 p.m. -- ALMS qualifying
