NCAA
OREGON STATE -4.5 OVER MARYLAND:
Again, the conference thing comes into play. The ACC was weak all season while the Pac 10 had teams at the top of the polls all year. Guess which Pac 10 team was playing the best football at the end? That's right, Oregon State. Beavers win big here.
FLORIDA -10 OVER MICHIGAN:
This will be the ugliest game on New Year's Day by far. Coach Lloyd Carr will end his run at Michigan by getting blown out by the Gators. Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and crew will run all over the Big Blue.
NFL
BALTIMORE +10 OVER PITTSBURGH:
The Steelers are the division champs and the Ravens, well, are awful. Thankfully for them the season ends here and hopefully changes will be made. It has been such a disappointing season in Baltimore, fans are actually excited for the baseball season. Take the points and hope the Ravens cover.
NEW YORK JETS – 4 OVER KANSAS CITY:
This is the Sunday night game? No idea why this game is on TV, nor who will watch it. Two terrible teams finishing off two terrible seasons. Take the Jets and do yourself a favor and don't tune in.
NEW ENGLAND -7 OVER NEW YORK GIANTS:
The Patriots head into the history books with a big win here. The Giants clinched a playoff berth last week and certainly won't be stressing out to win this one. New England is focused on the perfect season and won't miss a beat.
