The 2000 Ravens D: Where Are They Now?

The Super Bowl XXXV-winning Baltimore Ravens' defensive unit was arguably the best single-season defense in league history, setting 16-game league regular-season records for fewest yards allowed per rush (2.68), fewest rushing yards allowed (970), points per game allowed (10.5) and fewest points allowed (165). Six seasons after the fact, what are the starters on that legendary unit doing now?

LDE ROB BURNETT: Has been named Ravens Radio game analyst for new flagship station WIYY-FM (97.9).

LT SAM ADAMS: Left Baltimore as a free agent for Oakland in 2002 before playing in Buffalo for three years. He signed with Cincinnati this year.

RT TONY SIRAGUSA: Will return to his job this year as sideline reporter on Rave TV preseason telecasts as well as FOX Sports regular season games.

RDE MICHAEL MCCRARY: Second on the Ravens' all-time sack list (51), he is working with the pass rushers at this year's training camp.

LLB PETER BOULWARE: Retired this offseason after nine years. The team's first pick in 1997, he is the team's all-time sack leader (70).

MLB RAY LEWIS: Entering his 11th season as the starter; he is the team's all-time leading tackler (1674).

RLB JAMIE SHARPER: Has played for Seattle and Houston since his 2001 free-agent departure from the Ravens.

LCB: DUANE STARKS: Like Adams, he has played in three cities since leaving Baltimore in 2001. He was with Arizona (2001-04) and New England ('05) before signing with Oakland this year.

SS KIM HERRING: Signed with Cincinnati as a free agent in 2005, but his injury-marred career there seems to be over as he is not believed to be under contract this year.

FS ROD WOODSON: NFL Network analyst, part-time co-host of "NFL Total Access."

RCB CHRIS MCALISTER: The team's first-round pick in 1999, he is entering his eighth season with the Ravens.
