ESPN will carry most of the World Cup games. Martin Tyler and John Harkes called the United States vs. England match June 12. Ian Darke and Harkes will call the U.S.-Slovenia game June 18.

All of ESPN's TV broadcasts will be streamed online at ESPN3.com. Select matches will also be broadcast on TV in 3D on ESPN’s new ESPN-3D channel, launched June 11.

Some of the games will be carried on ESPN2, but once the tournament reaches the finals, coverage will be moved to ABC to be made available to a larger audience.
Play-by-play hosts include Ian Darke, Adrian Healey, Derek Rae and Martin Tyler. The color analysts include Efan Ekoku, John Harkes and Robbie Mustoe. The studio hosts will be Chris Fowler, Bob Ley, and Mike Tirico. Studio analysts include Shaun Bartlett, Ruud Gullit, Jurgen Klinsmann, Alexi Lalas, Steve McManaman and Roberto Martinez.

Univision will provide Spanish-language coverage. Their commentary teams are Pablo Ramirez and Jesús Bracamontes, Jorge Pérez Navarro, José Luis Chilavert, Jorge Ottati and Diego Balado. Fernando Fiore will be the studio host. Some games will air on the sister Telefutura network.

Like ESPN, Univision and Telefutura will offer high definition coverage of the game. On June 9, Comcast added the HD feeds of Washington D.C.’s Univision (WFDC) and Telefutura (WMDO) stations on many of its Washington and Baltimore area systems on channels 794 and 795, respectively.
