The Tufts Jumbos stunned the Salisbury Sea Gulls, 9-6, May 30 in the NCAA Division III men's lacrosse championship game. The win gave Tufts its first NCAA championship in any sport in school history.

Notre Dame, Duke Advance to Finals
Notre Dame defeated Cornell, 12-7, Saturday to advance to the NCAA Division I men's lacrosse championship game May 31 at M&T Bank Stadium. The Fighting Irish will face the Duke Blue Devils, who defeated Virginia, 14-13.

Terps Coach Cottle Steps Down

Midfielder Peet Poillon scored five goals to lead the Chesapeake Bayhawks to a convincing 16-8 victory over the Long Island Lizards in the Major League Lacrosse season opener on Saturday night.

Towson scored a season-high 13 points over UMass Wednesday to take a 13-6 win and advance to the CAA championship game. The Tigers face Delaware Saturday for the CAA title and a ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
