2010 Record: 7-8
Inside Lacrosse ranked Johns Hopkins 11th in its preseason poll and selected three Blue Jays for its All-America team: sophomore defender Tucker Durkin (third team), senior attackman Kyle Wharton (honorable mention) and sophomore midfielder John Ranagan (honorable mention).
Wharton and Durkin are the only two returning players who started all 15 games last season, but four others worked their way into the starting lineup for at least five games.
The Blue Jays had a .500 regular-season record in 2010, but their strength of schedule (eight games against other postseason teams) earned them an at-large bid into NCAA tournament. They lost in the first round to eventual champion Duke.
