A former Division I head coach with 230 career victories during 18 collegiate seasons, Gary Stewart has been named the new head men's basketball coach at Stevenson University.

Maryland's Jordan Williams was chosen by the New Jersey Nets in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft, giving the Terrapins picks in back-to-back seasons for the second time since 2007.

Richie Meade has resigned as the head men's lacrosse coach at Navy but will continue as a full tenured professor. Towson men's lacrosse coach Tony Seaman also announced his resignation after completing his 13th season at Towson.  

Gary Williams Announces Retirement
After 22 years at the Univeristy of Maryland, Gary Williams has announced his retirement as head men's basketball coach. 

O'Brien Shines In Terps' Spring Game
Danny O'Brien, last year's ACC Rookie of the Year, finished 16-of-23 for 199 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Maryland's annual Red-White spring game. 

College Lacrosse Weekend Roundup
Each local men's lacrosse team that played on Saturday entered its game riding a winning or losing streak of four or more games. Only one team kept that streak going.
