When the Baltimore Blast opens its season in November, it will mark Denison Cabral's 11th year as a member of the team. Last Thursday he won his first game as a high school soccer coach with St. Mary's High in Annapolis.

The Baltimore area high school soccer season has officially kicked off, once again bringing with it the controversy of high school soccer versus club soccer.

The Other Football in Westminster
The McDaniel College men's soccer team has become one of the best NCAA Division III sides in the Mid-Atlantic over the past six years. But it was the 1959 version of the Green Terror, then of Western Maryland College, that produced one of the most shocking results ever recorded in collegiate soccer.
