Meet the Mascots
Join the Sports Legends Museum for a fun-filled afternoon with your favorite wild and crazy mascots. Meet and greet special guests and take part in an informative Q&A session about the art of being a mascot. Summer Baseball

Mason-Dixon Umpires Association
The MDUA is looking for people to train as umpires. It will provide training, and upon completion of training, umpires will be assigned to work high school baseball games in the Baltimore area. Baltimore Adult Senior Baseball
The Eastern Baltimore County over 40 baseball league plays real hardball with wooden bats on 90-foot diamonds and is accepting new players for spring 2012. Media Softball League
The oldest ASA-certified coed media softball league is expanding and accepting new teams for 2012. The league seeks qualified teams, stressing clean competition, fun and safety. The modified co-ed, slow-pitch league is seeking qualified teams stressing clean competition, fun and safety. Active teams include WMAR-TV, Fox 45, Babe Ruth Museum and more. Winter Baseball
CCBC Catonsville is now accepting applications for its 2012 winter baseball camps, designed for student-athletes ages 8-18 and aiding participants in the development of the fundamental skills necessary to become successful baseball players. The camps are directed by the coaches of CCBC Catonsville, winner of 11 Maryland JUCO Conference and four NJCAA Region XX championships during its illustrious history. Pikesville Soccer Club

Soccer Classic
Team registrations are being accepted for the Central Maryland Soccer Association's 15th-annual Old Line State Classic, which takes places April 13 and 15 in Dundalk and Northpoint. The classic is open to all school, recreation and club USSF-affiliated teams in the mid-Atlantic region. Boys' and girls' competition is available for boys' and girls' teams in the single ages of U8 through U17. Delegation Soccer Tryouts
Soccer tryouts for the 2012 JCC Maccabi Games take place the week of Aug. 5-9. Boys' and girls' teams are being formed for participation in either Houston, Texas, or Memphis, Tenn., games. Players who are 13 years old by Aug. 1 and have not turned 17 by that date are eligible to participate. Teams are being formed for boys 14 and 16U, and girls 16U. Tryouts will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 11 and 18 at the Owings Mills JCC athletic fields, located at 3506 Gwynnbrook Ave. All players accompanied by one parent must report to the main lobby on the first scheduled tryout date for a 30-minute information meeting. Spring Soccer
The Central Maryland Soccer Association is now accepting team registrations for its spring 2012 season, which is scheduled to begin March 25. The league is open to all USSF-affiliated school-, recreation- and club-level travel teams in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. All games will take place on Sunday afternoons. Separate boys' and girls' divisions are available in the single age groupings of 8U and 17U. Ages 7 through 12 will compete 8-on-8, with ages 12 through 17 competing 11-on-11. CMSA is an affiliate league of US Club Soccer and the Soccer Association for Youth USSF national organizations. The guaranteed registration deadline is Feb. 17, 2012, with all registrations received after that date being accepted on a space-available basis only. March Madness Themed Benefit

Registration is open for the 19th Annual Mid-Atlantic Invitational Basketball Tournament, played March 23-25 in Westminster. Single age competition for both boys' and girls' teams will be available for ages 9-14. The tournament will feature a round-robin competition format with all teams being guaranteed a minimum of three games. The first- and second-place teams in all divisions will receive awards.
