Coach: Charley Toomey, seventh season
Conference: Eastern College Athletic
2011 record: 8-5, 4-2

Junior attackman Mike Sawyer, the Greyhounds' leading scorer (36 points) in 2011, earned honorable mention on Inside Lacrosse's preseason All-America list. He is one of three players, along with junior midfielder Davis Butts and senior defenseman Dylan Grimm, on the 2012 roster who started all 13 games in 2011.

The Greyhounds will have to find a replacement for John Schiavone, the team's faceoff specialist (133-233) and ground ball leader (70) in 2011. Senior midfielder J.P. Dalton won 17 of the 32 faceoffs he took last season.

Another position to watch is goalkeeper. Jake Hagelin was a four-year starter and, as a result, the four options to replace him this year have a combined 12 minutes and 57 seconds of collegiate experience between the pipes.
