The fifth honoree is Dundalk High School golfer Seth Brinegar.

GBMC Unsung Hero February 2015: Dundalk's Seth Brinegar
L-R: Dundalk assistant principal Dave Stovenour, Seth Brinegar, PressBox publisher Stan Charles and Dundalk golf coach Steve Oppenheim

Brinegar, a senior, was nominated by Dundalk golf coach Steve Oppenheim, who wrote:

"Seth is a model student-athlete. He works hard on and off of the playing field. He is eager to help others in the classroom while maintaining a high GPA."

The Dundalk boys' varsity golf team compiled an 8-2 overall record during the 2014 season, and Brinegar and teammate Justin Walker both qualified for the Baltimore County Public Schools Tournament.

To Oppenheim, one Brinegar's most impressive qualities is his ability to balance multiple activities and obligations.

"Seth will do anything that is asked of him," Oppenheim wrote. "He is a leader of his youth church group and manages his time wisely so that all of his commitments can be fulfilled 100 percent of the time."

Oppenheim also highlighted Brinegar's low-key style.

"Seth is very humble and is not one to bring attention to himself," Oppenheim wrote. "He goes about his business and is very self-motivated."
