PressBox caught up with Ravens cornerback Brandon Carr.
What's your favorite "cheat" food?
Brandon Carr: I love peanut butter cookies, so I've been going to Insomnia Cookies.
Who was your favorite sports star when you were a kid?
BC: Charlie Ward. Charlie Ward was a smaller guy, he played quarterback, and he was a point guard, and that's what I grew up playing. Florida State was my favorite team.
If you weren't playing football what would you be doing for a living?
BC: Pediatrician. I thought about it. My freshman year in college I had to make a decision. I thought about it [post-NFL], but I don't want to take away 12 years from my kids after this. So first a pediatrician, and now, I think I would be coaching, probably like a ninth-grade team and work my way up to the varsity.
On a scale of one (terrible) to 10 (awesome), what is your cooking ability?
BC: I can hold it down. I'm about a five or six.
What's your favorite thing to do on an off day?
BC: Sleep, visit a school, read to kids, spend half a day with them.
What's your favorite city to visit on the road?
BC: I like Seattle. Seattle's a nice city. I like to get out before curfew and just walk around the downtown and stuff. It's got a nice little vibe to it.
What is your all-time favorite movie?
BC: “A Christmas Story.”
Do you have any pets?
BC: Not here. My kids have some fish at home.
What's on your bucket list as far as a place to visit that you've never been to before?
BC: I want to go to the Gold Coast over in Australia. I want to go to Africa. And I'd also like to go to Finland. I think it's a nice tranquil place, and it always seems on the list of top places with happy people.
