Local Men's Lacrosse Power Rankings: Week One

Here are this week's local men's lacrosse power rankings:  

Division I:

1. Loyola (2-0)
Last Week: Defeated Johns Hopkins, 18-12
Spotlight: Freshman midfielder Chase Scanlan and sophomore attacker Kevin Lindley had four goals apiece. Senior attacker Pat Spencer (Boys' Latin) added three goals and four assists. 
Next Up: At No. 19 Rutgers Feb. 23

2. Maryland (3-0)
Last Week: Defeated Penn, 13-12, in overtime
Spotlight: Sophomore midfielder Roman Puglise scored the game-winning goal 18 seconds into the extra period. Sophomore midfielder Logan Wisnauskas (Boys' Latin) had four goals and two assists.  
Next Up: Hosts No. 16 Colgate Feb. 19

3. Towson (2-0)
Last Week: Defeated Mount St. Mary's, 12-7
Spotlight: Junior goalie Tyler Canto made 18 saves. Junior attacker/midfielder Brody McLean, a Stony Brook transfer, had five goals and an assist.

4. Navy (2-0)
Last Week: Defeated UMBC, 11-6
Spotlight: Sophomore attacker Christian Daniel (Northern) had five goals and an assist.

Spotlight: Senior attacker Kyle Marr scored five times, while freshman attacker Joey Epstein (Landon) had three goals and three assists.

Spotlight: Junior attacker Ryan Frawley scored three goals.
