PressBox recently caught up with Ravens defensive tackle Michael Pierce to ask him about his favorite guilty food, his favorite sports star growing up, his favorite thing about Baltimore and more.

PressBox: What’s your favorite guilty food?

Michael Pierce: I love lasagna. I’m a big, big Italian fan, so lasagna is my go-to.

PB: What’s a bucket-list place you’ve never been to?

MP: Well, I plan on going to Dubai [after the season]. Outside of that, I’ll say Bora Bora.

PB:Who was your favorite sports star when you were a kid?

MP: Ray Lewis. I played linebacker in high school.

PB: What was your favorite sports team growing up?

MP: I was a big, big Lakers fan, big Kobe [Bryant] fan.

PB: On a scale from 1 (terrible) to 10 (awesome), how good of a cook are you

MP: I’m really good. I want to say a 9. You don’t get to be this big without cooking some good meals. … I’m about to buy a smoker.

PB: What’s your favorite movie of all time?

MP: “Space Jam” was it but now “300.”

PB: What do you like to do on an off day?

MP: Offseason, I love the water. I get on the boat, jet ski, that kind of stuff, just hang out with family and friends.

PB: What’s your favorite road city?

MP: L.A., strictly because of the weather. The weather’s amazing. If you want to shop, you can do that, but there’s always something cool to see there.

PB:What TV show are you binge-watching?

MP: I’m in the middle of “Designated Survivor.” Awesome, awesome show.

PB: What’s your favorite thing about Baltimore?

MP: The people in the city, just how warm they are. Anywhere I go, it’s always awesome. I love meeting new people, and Baltimore has nice, good people.
