Lou From the Coast

Hey football fans, Lou from the Coast here. If you want to pick some winners on the gridiron this weekend, you've come to the right place.

Florida -3 over Tennessee: The Gators are ready to take back control of this rivalry with veteran QB Chris Leak dominating a decimated Vols D which lost two starters this past week in their win over Air Force. Gators roll in Knoxville.

Louisville -4.5 over Miami (FL): Yeah, yeah, so Louisville put up 60 on Temple…who couldn't do that? Remember they did it without Michael Bush who broke his leg in Week

1. They won't put up 60 against the Canes, but Miami just doesn't have the horses to keep up with Louisville.

Best Bet of the Week:

Vanderbilt + 7 over Arkansas: Vandy played both Michigan and Alabama tough on the road so far this year, while Arkansas was terrible against USC two weeks ago. The Commodores break through this weekend and beat the Hogs outright!
Baltimore -6.5 over Oakland: The Ravens D was impressive against Chris Simms and the Bucs last week, and now they must be salivating to face Aaron Brooks. Did you see what Shawne Merriman did to him on Monday Night? Two words, Ravens blowout.

Dallas -5 over Washington: Neither team looked good in Week 1, but at least Dallas showed some life on offense with Bledsoe and T.O. looking like a formidable duo in the making. Parcells hasn't forgotten the Skins miracle comeback in Week 2 last year in "Big D", it wont happen again as the Skins fall to 0-2. Maybe Dan Snyder can let Jamie Foxx take over the offense next week.

Jacksonville -2 over Pittsburgh: The Jags are an up-and-coming team, as displayed by their comeback win against the Cowboys last week. QB Charlie Batch did a nice job in place of Big Ben against the Dolphins, but it wont happen against a tenacious Jags defense.
We'll see you all back here next week right here in PressBox, the exclusive home of Lou from the Coast.
